From Kendo we keep the most traditional techniques combined with innovation, we are constantly looking for ways to evolve to contribute and grow as a society. As a result of this effort, we have the following certificates that prove our strong commitment to the environment.
Since 2009, we have been certified by the ISO 9001:2015 standard issued by the international organization Bureau Veritas. This standard reflects the principles and establishes the basis for the quality of a product in order to direct and perfect our production and guide it towards excellence.
We have also obtained the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification. This international standard proves our commitment to environmental protection by managing the environmental risks associated with our activities.
FSC chain-of-custody certification guarantees that our FSC-certified products come from fair-use forests, controlled sources or reclaimed materials, just as we work in accordance with core labor standards in all our activities. The official objective of FSC® is "to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world's forests".
Forest certification system whose mission is to take care of forests globally, ensuring their protection and making sure forest sustainability with a local perspective that generates benefits for all. PEFC is an instrument that shows that our operations are responsible, supporting the choice of sustainable forest products, because it takes into account each link in the supply chain and ensures that all forest resources used are produced in accordance with the strictest environmental, social and ethical standards.
