Rak
Francesc RiféRak
Francesc RiféWith references to both past and present, Rak can be interpreted as a rationalist architectural narrative. Hard angles and the overlapping and intersecting planks of ash wood, natural or stained, define these small tables that make up the collection. It is a warm and inviting design that, despite its simplicity, will add personality to any interior.
Each piece of furniture in the Rak collection is a set of wooden pieces meticulously joined together, creating a perfect harmony between volume and elegance with a refined aesthetic. In spite of its forceful volume, they achieve a perfect balance in the resulting pieces.
The care in the design is also evident in the small details. The Rak top is divided into two planks with a four-millimeter separation between them, which lightens the whole. The crossbeams at the junction of the structure with the top and at the bottom add strength. The space between the vertical sides creates an interesting visual interplay at the intersection with the crossbeam.
